Challenge Community Services is a not-for-profit organisation established in 1958 in Tamworth, New South Wales. After serving the community for over 60 years, Challenge has grown to be one of the largest community service providers operating in New South Wales Today.
Our vision is that people everywhere in our community will experience the power of inclusion through relationships, voice and action. We strive to assist people to reach their potential through innovative and people-focused services.
As a registered NDIS provider, Challenge Disability Services support people with low, moderate and high support needs across all disabilities and backgrounds.
We provide a range of services for people living with a disability, including support coordination, 24/7 supported accommodation, assistance with community access, along with a Connexions program for school leavers and young people to make new friends and learn important life skills.
We also provide supported employment within our Challenge Business Services in the Upper Hunter and New England regions of New South Wales.
Challenge Foster Care is now the fourth largest provider of out-of-home care in NSW providing foster care services to over 500 children. Carefully matching placements, along with the training and support our foster carers receive from us, ensures the placement has the best chance of stability for a child or young person in need.
Challenge Therapeutic Services is a registered NDIS and Medicare provider. Our experienced psychologists offer individual, group and family therapy.
